Tea Light Holder Valentine's Day - Make it Monday

Heyy All,

I know I have been on MIA a lot!.....But hopefully that will now change :)

So here is lovely and easy-peasy Valentine's day DIY Decor for you all, and it also recycles/upcycles old glass bottles and turns them into cute little decorative pieces!

Materials-

• Scissors
• Baby Food Jars Or Small Glass Bottles
• Card Stock Paper- Pink /Red or as per your Choice
• Mini Heart Punch
• White Glue
• Baker's Twine/Yarn/ Jute Twine
• Tealights 

Cut the Card stock into a strip, Punch the hearts and make a paper lace

Once done measure and cut the paper lace and glue it at the bottom of the Jar

Place glue dots on the jar and stick on the punched hearts, you can do a pattern or just stick them randomly

Lastly tie the twine, if you don't have bakers twine you can use any other twine or simply some yarn would also work

Do the more jars in the same way using different color. That's it guys you are done, hope you enjoyed this cute DIY as much as I did!

DIY Mini Gift Ornaments: Make it Monday

Make these cute mini Gift Ornaments in a few simple steps with toothpaste boxes!!
Cover with any type of Paper you like...glittery, shiny or minimal!

Materials:
Toothpaste Boxes OR you can use any of those Cosmetic boxes!
Gift Wrap
Scissors
Tape
Ribbon/Twine

How to Make:

Take your toothpaste box,

 Cut it into desired size/no.of pieces,

 Cover the open side of Top and Bottom piece with tape, don't worry no one will know as we will wrap it up!

For the middle parts cover both open sides with tape,

Cover them as you wold wrap the normal gifts, tape and tie with ribbon /twine,

Attach a loop/hook to hang the ornament,

That's it, Happy Decorating!

Easy DIY Curtain Tie-Backs: Make it Monday

Make these lovely burlap curtain tie-backs in minutes. You can sew these either by hand or by sewing machine.

Material:
2.5" Burlap Ribbon of any design/Plain

Medium Elastic Cord

1" Buttons (preferably Wooden)

Thread + Needle/ Sewing Machine

Steps:

Cut burlap ribbon into 12" small strip for one tie back.

Take the strip and fold about 1/2 cm (5mm) on each side on the wrong side and hem.

Cut 2" Elastic cord piece and sew on the wrong side of one side of the strap.

Take the button sew on the other front side of the strap at the edge.

That's all you are DONE!!!

DIY Starburst Decor: Make it Monday

Make this lovely "Starburst Wall Decor" for any Room of your house! 

The lovely wall piece is not only Contemporary and modern, it is Under 8$!!!

Easy on Budget but high on Style, what's better than that!

All you need is:

1. Wooden Skewers- 2 sizes 1 packet each

2. Cork Trivet (Size 8" or more)

3. Glue 

4. Cardboard Cut in Round shape (Diameter as you desire preferably 8" or more) and Aluminium Foil OR Silver Paint (or any other color you like) OR Round Cake base (You can use old one in case you saved it)!!

The Steps-

Gather your Materials, I used a saved Round cake base, I gave it a fresh coat of silver paint to hide the knife marks.

If you are using cardboard you can either crush the foil and then paste it over your base or directly paint the cardboard with metallic paint.

Next decide how many points you want, mark points on your cork so that you get an even design, you can make it more scattered or more compact, then Alternate your large and small skewers to create the pattern, 

First dip pointed side the skewer in glue and then just insert in the cork. Maintain the size that you insert in cork so that you have same sized rays. 

Glue the silver plate to the cork trivet.

Let it all dry completely,
I liked the natural look of skewers so I kept it that way, you can also paint them if you like,

I used Picture Command strips to hang mine,

You are done!

DIY - Text Pillow/Cushion Cover

Make this super simple and stylish text cushion/pillow case in minutes!

All you need is:

• Solid Colored Pillow/Cushion Cover
• Quote or Words that you want to write
• Bold Marker
• Fabric Marker

Steps:

• Take a white sheet of paper (heavy paper would be better) about the same size as your pillow/cushion cover.
• Write your text with bold marker on the paper.
• Place the paper under the front side of the pillow case, your bold text must be visible slightly form underneath.
• Take the fabric marker and just out line the text.
• You are done!
