Globetrotting Diaries - New York City!

Hey Everyone I am back after my short break! Me and my hubby planned a short trip to New York City this Weekend, it was great to actually see all the typical NYC and the famous landmarks that you usually see in movies/TV! It was a fun trip, apart from the busy traffic and having to miss a few landmarks due to the non-availability of the tickets. Luckily we also got to see some fall colors!

Here are some pics!

Central Park...

Fall Colors...

Squirrel...

The City...

The Brooklyn Bridge...

View From Empire State Building...

The Statue of Liberty...

Seagull in the Park...

  2. Sounds like a great trip, I would love to go to New York one day. I love your picture of all the bikes. Isn't it dangerous to ride a bike in such a busy city? I don't know if I'd be brave enough!

    1. I felt the same, the traffic is horrible in the downtown...but if you look at it through another angle, the traffic is so slow & busy that actually it may be a better option than being stuck in a taxi! ...and yes never get a rental car there or you'll go crazy!

  4. Your photos look great!! I used to live in NYC and we often go back several times a year for family and friends. I'm originally from Chicago but NYC is hands down my favorite city on the planet. It's so pretty there and the food is amazing!! We'll be in NYC for Thanksgiving so I hope to do some photo taking while there. Maybe they'll have Christmas decorations up!

  9. Wow! You got better color from the trees than I would ever have thought! We live about 5 hours north of the city, by car, and our colors are completely gone and most leaves are off the trees! I'm so happy for you and your photos are great! Isn't it a terrific city?

    1. Yes! ...We were lucky to see the colors! It was a fun trip! We took Amtrak from DC to NYC, though I couldn't take much pics from train but we really saw some really beautiful colors on the way!

  10. Thanks for sharing these great pictures! I do love to see them. Now that I'll be quitting my day job this week, hubby and I look forward to doing some traveling ourselves. Travel pics are the most fun to see because you have the great stories and memories behind them.
