Friday Feature- James & Tamara from Redcoatstudio.Etsy.Com

Hello…
We are James an English painter and photographer, and Tamara, an American art and portrait photographer, and blogger. We reside in the UK and run Red Coat Studio on Etsy.

Our Craft…
We create art through photography and paints, and sell affordable prints of our original work.

Our Inspiration…
We are both inspired by the details in life. The ever changing English towns, the daily street life, the mundane scenes that people walk past.

Our AHA moment of being an Artist…
James and I have always been interested and creating art. I think it's just a part of you and as you get older your personality comes out stronger. When you are an artist it is part of your personality.

Our Creative sides are ignited by…
By lively street scenes. Viewing others inspirational work.

Our Masterpiece/s…
James would say this one...

and I would say this one...

Oddly enough images from our home countries.

Apart from Crafting …
James is a musician and I am a blogger at TamaraLynnPhotography.com

When we are busy creating …
We both get into a very focused, yet zen-like state. We both like to listen to music while he paints and I edit. Usually something like the Breeders or Kula Shaker.

In ten years we would be…
Very successful etsy shop owners, even more active with our local art scene, living by the English seaside, living a happy artsy life with one another.

Places to look for us…

James
