Friday Feature- Sedruola from Sedruola.etsy.com

Hello…
Hi, my name is Sedruola, but you can call me Sedie (say-dee). I live in New England with my amazing husband and two kiddos. I don't often get to talk about myself in this way so this will be a learning process for me, I hope you enjoy.

My Craft…
I am a crochet designer. I design, create and sell crochet patterns as well as custom crochet gift and one of a kind items. I love "hooking".

My Inspiration…
(Whenever I run across this question the same answers comes up, so I suppose they truly are my inspiration. I'm inspired by my family (kids, husband & extended), nature, and the seasons. Those things inspire me the most to do my craft. . . then there is just the beauty of life and fashion itself.

My AHA moment of being an Artist…
I realized in early 2011 that crochet was the place I was supposed to be and that I would do great at it. Before then, I'd always been a creative person, but I never saw it as the means. I now see it as a way to provide myself with the lifestyle I want and give to my kids a good lifestyle.

My Creative sides are ignited by…
The sight of yarn ignites my creative side. When I go to the yarn store or the craft store and I see yarn, my little cogs begin to turn and all sorts of projects light up in my head!

My Masterpiece…
As of now, this is the piece I'm most excited about and proud of -

Apart from Crafting …
I also knit (but not as much) and I scrapbook. . . however, with my limited schedule, I devote most of my creative time to crochet.

When I am busy creating …
I love to be in a comfy chair with quiet. Although I can crochet with a lot going on, when I'm creating something new, my favorite environment is quite, bright and serene.

In ten years I would be…
Considered a crochet "Guru" with several books published, several graduated students from my crochet courses and doing speaking engagements.

Places to look for me…
