Crochet Belts - Monday Feature

I am a big crochet fan, I love it all belts, vests, shawls, ponchos, scarves etc…etc..! Today I am featuring “Crochet Belts”.

Actually me and my younger sister both started learning crochet together, I gave up as soon as I started...in fact I can’t even hold a crochet hook! But my sister has now perfected the art. She makes everything Doilies, Scarves, Belts, Vests, Shawls, Ponchos and what not! I have asked her several times to open an Etsy shop…but she never listens. As for me I am enjoying the free stuff!

Today I am featuring my belt collection, all made by my Sister. I love them all….

This week's outfit is inspired by the F1 Race starting today in Singapore! The tickets are way toooo expensive but since we live nearby we will walk down and see if we can catch a glimpse!

Here are a few interesting facts about Singapore Night race-

* Formula One World Championship event takes place in Singapore on the Marina Bay Street Circuit.  Marina Bay Street Circuit covers an area of 799,000 square metres, the equivalent of 112 full-size football pitches.

*The first race held at the new Marina Bay Street Circuit was the 15th round of the 2008 FIA Formula One World Championship, and was also the first night-time event in Formula One history.

*The infrastructure required to hold a race on Singapore’s streets is considerable: over 10 kilometres of debris fencing is used, as well as around 2,600 concrete barriers, over 1,600 TecPro barriers and around 1,500 lights to illuminate the circuit.

*  The Marina Bay Street Circuit has 23 corners - the most of any circuit on the calendar.
