This Thursday let's continue My Globetrotting Diaries with the "Singapore Series" that I started sometime back.
This week explore "The City in a Garden" side of Singapore.
One might think of Singapore as a Modern Concrete Jungle, but believe me it is NOT!
With 300 Parks and 4 Nature Reserves along with rows of Trees and Greenery that line the expressways and streets, Vertical Gardens blending in the facade of high rise buildings along with Roof-Top Gardens, Singapore truly is a "Green Paradise".
Let's take a walk into this City Garden for now, later we will take a walk in the Nature Reserves and parks. There are so many pictures, but here are a few that I could shortlist.
Here are a Few of Many...
Views from Roof tops...
Believe me there is Greenery everywhere, parks and sidewalks...
As if you are driving through a Rain-forest...
There is a a green patch everywhere...
Floral Sidewalk, it is like this most of the year...
Award winning Green Building- Park Royal Hotel...
View of City from Lotus Pond...
